Liang Han was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University. In the lab of Dr. Xinzhong Dong, her research used molecular, genetic, behavioral and pharmacological approaches to investigate the role of Mrgprs (a family of G protein-coupled receptors) in mediating different types of itch sensation. She received her Ph.D. from a joint neuroscience program with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Rutgers University and earned a B.S. and M.S. from Tsinghua University. Currently, Dr. Han is an Assistant Professor in the School of Biological Sciences, Georgia Institute of Technology.
