Keith Hengen was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Brandeis University. In the lab of Dr. Gina Turrigiano, Keith studied the molecular mechanisms that stabilize the brain, the role of sleep in stabilizing the brain, and how these homeostatic mechanisms support cognition and behavior. Keith earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and his B.A. in Biological Psychology from Bates College. Currently, Dr. Hengen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Washington University.
