Alicia Guemez Gamoba was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Rockefeller University. In the laboratory of Dr. Joseph Gleeson, Alicia explored the function of PCDH12 relevant to neural circuit formation during development and disease, using a combination of human genetics, animal and stem cell disease models. Alicia earned her PhD in Neuroscience in the University of California, San Diego and her B.S. in Biology from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. Currently, Dr. Guemez Gamboa is an Assistant Professor of Physiology at Northwestern University.
