Gordon M.G. Shepherd, Ph.D.

Dr. Shepherd’s research seeks to expand our understanding of the circuit organization of motor cortex by cell type and contribute to scientific knowledge on circuit connectivity in motor and somatosensory cortical regions. His lab aims to elucidate the synaptic circuit organization of motor cortex using the mouse as a model organism. His project will investigate ex vivo connectivity between secondary and primary motor cortex along with in vivo activity in rodents.
