Zhaolan Zhou was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Children’s Hospital Boston. In the laboratory of Dr. Michael Greenberg, his research aimed to provide a better understanding of MeCP2 function, give insight into the mechanisms of activity-dependent gene expression and neuronal development, and provide new opportunities for the development of therapeutic strategies to alleviate RTT pathology. He earned his Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology from Harvard University, earned his M.S. in genetics from Chinese Academy of Sciences, and earned his B.S. in bioengineering from Nankai University in China. Currently, Dr. Zhou is an Associate Professor of Genetics in the Department of Genetics, University of Pennsylvania.
