Wee Wei Tee was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at the New York University School of Medicine. In the lab of Dr. Danny Reinberg, Wee Wei investigated the roles of DNA topology and epigenetic regulation in neurodevelopment, and their implications in human neuropsychiatric disorders such as autism, and neurodegenerative diseases such as Freidreich’s ataxia. Wee Wei earned his Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from the University of Cambridge and his B.S. in Molecular Biology from University College London. Currently, Dr. Tee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology at National University of Singapore Medicine and a principal investigator at A*STAR-IMCB.
