Tommy Lewis was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Neuroscience at Columbia University. In the lab of Dr. Franck Polleux, Tommy investigated in vivo mechanisms of mitochondrial dynamics and how activity regulates their presynaptic capture and function in neurons. Michael earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and his B.S. in Biology from the University of Southern California. Currently, Dr. Lewis is an Assistant Member of the Aging & Metabolism Research Program at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
