Todd J. Cohen was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. In the laboratory of Dr. Virginia Lee, his research aimed to determine whether acetylation of TDP-43 promotes aggregation and neurodegeneration. He earned his Ph.D. in neurodegenerative diseases from Duke University and earned his B.S. in microbiology from Pennsylvania State University. Currently, Dr. Cohen is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina Neuroscience Center.
