Taulant Bacaj was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University. In the lab of Dr. Thomas Sudhof, his work aimed to identify the molecules that sense neuronal calcium changes which can trigger long-term plasticity, extending our understanding of basic neuronal processes and helping to define pathways that could be used to ameliorate neurological dysfunctions. He earned his Ph.D. in genetics from Rockefeller University and earned a B.S. in biology and chemistry from Carroll University. Currently, Dr. Bacaj is a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company.
