Dr. Tanuj Gulati is currently a Principal Investigator at the Center for Neural Science and Medicine, Department of Biomedical Sciences and Department of Neurology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. His postdoctoral training was in Neuroscience and Neural Engineering at University of California, San Francisco. In the lab of Dr. Karunesh Ganguly, using a rodent model, he investigated whether a stimulation system that delivers stimulation precisely at the time of movement intention could work better than conventional stimulation systems, and how the stimulation affects ongoing brain activity, all toward informing better neurostimulation systems for stroke. He received his Ph.D. in neuroscience at Drexel University and obtained his MS from the National Brain Research Center in India.
