Shana Elbaum-Garfinkle was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Princeton University. In the lab of Dr. Clifford Brangwynne, Shana researched the role of intracellular liquid phase separation in neurodegenerative disease models. Dr. Elbaum-Garfinkle received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and her B.A. in Physics from Hunter College. Currently, Dr. Elbaum-Garfinkle is an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at CUNY.
