Salvatore Cherra was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Neurobiology at the University of California, San Diego. In the lab of Dr. Yishi Jin, Salvatore used genetics and genomic analyses to investigate synaptic connectivity using Caenorhabditis elegans. Salvatore received his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Pathology from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and his B.S. in Biology from the University of Scranton. Currently, Dr. Cherra is an Assistant Professor in the Neuroscience Department at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
