Katherine Thompson-Peer was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Physiology at University of California, San Francisco. In the lab of Dr. Yuh-Nung Jan, Katherine researched the response of the nervous system to trauma, focusing on the ability of dendrites to regenerate following acute damage. Katherine earned her Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology from Harvard Medical School and her B.A. in Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, Dr. Thompson-Peer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Developmental and Cell Biology at the University of California, Irvine.
