Jodi McBride was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Neuroscience at Oregon National Primate Research Center. Under joint mentorship from Sergio Ojeda, Beverly Davidson, and John Nutt, her research project focused on testing the benefit of RNA interference (RNAi) in the nonhuman primate (NHP) as a pre-clinical step toward developing RNAi as a therapy for Huntington’s disease (HD) patients. She earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Rush University, and her B.S. in Molecular and Integrative Physiology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She also completed post-doctoral work at the University of Iowa.
