NINDS K99/R00 Awardee - May 2019

Jesse Marshall is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, Center for Brain Science at Harvard University. His research in the lab of Bence Olveczky aims to power new computational models of the neural basis of movement and skill learning and establish a new quantitative experimental platform for future studies. This work may also provide new directions in the search for the circuit basis of human diseases of movement and behavior such as Parkinson’s disease and obsessive-compulsive disorder. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. in physics from Stanford University and received a B.A. in physics and B.S. in mathematics from the University of Chicago.
