Dr. Jeanne Paz was a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. John Huguenard in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University, Stanford Medical School, Stanford, California. Using freely moving animals, she aimed to understand how neural circuits reorganize after stroke and what aspects of post-stroke thalamocortical reorganization can lead to epilepsy. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in neuroscience, and her B.S. in cell biology and physiology, from the University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France. She is currently an Associate Investigator at Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease, San Francisco, California, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology, School of Medicine at UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences, University of California, San Francisco, California.
