Dr. Hyosang Lee was a postdoctoral fellow with Professor David Anderson in the Division of Biology at California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California. Using mice as a model system, he aimed to identify itch-sensing primary afferent neurons and brain regions mediating pruritogen-evoked behavior to help provide critical insights into novel therapeutic strategies that selectively target itch-mediating neurons. He earned his Ph.D. in biological chemistry from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, his M.S. in neurophysiology from POSTECH, Pohang, South Korea, and his B.S. in biochemistry from the Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea. He is now an Assistant Professor in the Laboratory of Affective Neuroscience, Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology, Daegu, South Korea.
