Huanghe Yang was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco. In the Jan lab at UCSF, his research aimed to define the molecular properties of calcium-activated TMEM16 channels and their cellular functions in platelets and in cerebellar Purkinje cells. He earned his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Currently, Dr. Yang is an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Neurobiology at Duke University School of Medicine.
