Fabienne Poulain was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Utah. In the lab of Dr. Joe Yost, her research aimed to dissect out how eparan sulfate proteoglycans and heparan sulfate chain modifications regulate axon navigation using a unique combination of in vivo approaches, genetics and biochemistry. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Paris 6-Pierre et Marie Curie, and she earned a B.S. in biology and Master’s in neuroscience from Paris 7-Dednis Diderot University in Paris, France. Currently, Dr. Poulain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of South Carolina.
