Eric Vitriol was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Emory University. In the lab of Dr. James Zheng, his research aimed to investigate the mechanistic role that defects in the regulation of actin dynamics plays in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He earned his Ph.D. in cell and developmental biology and his B.S. in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently, Dr. Vitriol is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Florida.
