Eran A. Mukamel was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Under joint mentorship from Drs. Terry Sejnowski and Eric Halgren, his research aimed to understand how cortical networks, interacting via millisecond -scale electrical signals, self-organize over macroscopic spatial dimensions to sustain global states for minutes to hours. He earned is Ph.D. in physics from Stanford University and earned his B.A. in physics and mathematics from Harvard University. Currently, Dr. Mukamel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cognitive Science at the University of California, San Diego.
