Andrew Frank was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of California, San Francisco’s School of Medicine. In the laboratory of Graeme Davis, his research aimed to clarify the mechanisms of synaptic homeostatic signaling. More specifically, he tested how Ephexin, a cytoplasmic signaling molecule, directs synaptic homeostasis, potentially through calcium channel regulation. He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and his B.S. in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
