Dr. Rebecca Price is a Program Manager in the Division of Neuroscience. She oversees NINDS resources including the NINDS Human Cell and Data Repository (NHCDR) and the NINDS biorepository, the BioSpecimen Exchange for Neurological Disorders (BioSEND). Prior to joining the NIH, Rebecca worked as Lead Research Coordinator at the University of North Carolina under the direction of Dr. Samuel McLean on the NIMH funded "Longitudinal Assessment of Post-traumatic Syndromes" (AURORA Study). Rebecca received her Ph.D. from McGill University, where she worked with Dr. Petra Schweinhardt. Her graduate research investigated individual variability in pain perception in humans with an emphasis on the endogenous opioid system.
