NINDS conducts strategic planning to guide and coordinate research, both across the Institute and on specific topics related to our mission. Planning activities use a variety of approaches to identify research priorities through engagement with a broad range of partners including the research community, people with lived experience of neurological disorders, nongovernmental organizations, and other governmental agencies.
