Jenny Kim, Ph.D.

Jenny Kim, Ph.D. serves as the Chief of Staff for the Associate Director of the Office of Programs to Enhance the Neuroscience Workforce (OPEN). She earned her Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Michigan State University. Her doctoral work focused on neuro- and gliogenesis in the adolescent rodent brain. She then went on to do her postdoctoral work at NIMH continuing her research on postnatal neurogenesis. Prior to joining OPEN, Dr. Kim was a 2019-2020 AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow in the Office of Science Policy and Planning (OSPP).
