Clayton Bingham is a Health Program Specialist for the Neurotechnology & Integrated Systems cluster within the NINDS Division of Neuroscience. He primarily supports administration of the CONNECTS program as part of the BRAIN Initiative. Before joining NIH, he worked on biophysically detailed models of hippocampal and basal ganglia pathways in the context of therapeutic neuromodulation (e.g., memory prostheses and deep brain stimulation). He was a postdoctoral fellow in Neural Engineering (BME) at Duke University, a postdoctoral scholar in BME at Case Western Reserve University and completed his Ph.D. in BME at University of Southern California.
