Location: Montgomery County MD or remotely
The NINDS Division of Clinical Research is seeking a Health Program Specialist (HPS) to provide critical data analytic support to the division. In coordination with Program Directors, the HPS will manage and coordinate workshops and activities that promote efforts in the division. This HPS will be the first contact for a broad range of study proposals.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Implementing the NINDS policy on the procedures covering the acceptance of applicants for institutional and individual grant awards.
- Providing scientific support in planning, coordination, evaluation, and communication of research and contracts.
- Participating in the development of scientific initiatives and analyzing their success.
- Serving as IC representative on committees and working groups focusing on areas of analyst expertise.
- Engaging in outreach to professional organizations and other external stakeholders, as needed.

Salary and Benefits
This is a Federal GS-11, GS-12 or GS-13 position. Level is based upon individual qualifications and professional experience. A full benefits package is available, which includes Thrift Savings Plan participation, health, life and long-term care insurance.
