LOCATION: Bethesda, Maryland
The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) Intramural Research Program is seeking a Staff Clinician to lead the Neurology Consultation Service at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The Neurology Consultation Service provides neurological evaluations and advice on the care of primarily adult and some pediatric inpatients and outpatients who are enrolled in clinical protocols at the Clinical Center. The NIH Clinical Center is the largest research hospital in the world and conducts early-phase clinical trials and natural history studies of rare disorders.

The candidate will direct a consult team composed of nurses, fellows, and other trainees. Some effort will be protected for research, teaching and administration. Experience with the diagnosis and management of a wide variety of neurological problems, particularly related to oncological, immunological, and genetic disorders, is important. This is also a unique and exciting opportunity for a neurologist looking to expand and deepen their expertise in these areas.
