Xiao Liu was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke Intramural Program. In the lab of Dr. Jozef Duyn, Xiao investigated the specific neural correlates and generative mechanisms that lead to resting-state fMRI signal correlations to better understand functional networks. Xiao earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and his B.E. in Mechanics and Engineering Science from Beijing University. Currently, Dr. Liu is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Pennsylvania State University.
