Michael Baldwin was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In the lab of Dr. Joseph Barbieri, Michael studied the interaction of Botulinum neurotoxins with presynaptic receptor complexes to provide insight for the development of novel therapies to inhibit against Botulinum neurotoxins. Michael earned his Ph.D. in Microbiology from King’s College London and his B.S. in Microbiology from Imperial College London. Currently, Dr. Baldwin is an Associate Professor in Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
