Dr. Jesse H. Goldberg was a postdoctoral associate with Dr. Michale Fee in the McGovern Institute for Brain and Cognitive Sciences at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Using the songbird model system, he aimed to understand the basic mechanisms of basal ganglia function in order to study how basal ganglia microcircuits contribute to normal and abnormal motor function. He earned his Ph.D. in neuroscience and his M.D. from Columbia University, New York and his B.S. in biology from Haverford College, Haverford, Pennsylvania. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
