Helen Schwerdt is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In the lab of Dr. Michael Cima, Helen aims to use neurochemical mapping strategies to elucidate the site-specific dopamine operations of the striatum and basal ganglia networks, as implicated in pathology. Dr. Schwerdt earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and earned her M.S.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
