Dr. Jin-Moo Lee studies the mechanisms of plasticity in brain networks following stroke. In this project, he explores the hypothesis that inhibitory parvalbumin interneurons function as regulators of network plasticity following stroke. A central role for these interneurons in network repair and plasticity could inform potential targets for therapeutic intervention in the injured brain.
