Timothy Lyden joined the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) in 2013 and currently serves as a Council Program Specialist in the Extramural Administration Branch, Division of Extramural Activities. 
 
Tim has worked at NINDS since 2013 first as an Operations Coordinator for the Division of Translational Research (DTR) and most recently as a Program Specialist in the Grants Management Branch (GMB). During his time in GMB, Tim’s portfolio consisted mostly of grants from the Channels, Synapses & Circuits and Neural Environment Clusters.While in DTR as an Operations Coordinator, Tim supported the Blueprint Neurotherapeutics Network, IGNITE and Biomarker programs. In addition to supporting those programs, Tim managed DTR’s social media, listserv, and website such as the Blueprint Neurotherapeutics Network (BPN), the NINDS Biomarker Program, the Innovation Grants to Nurture Initial Translational Efforts (IGNITE) Program, and the Division of Translational Research website and managed all social media accounts.
 
Timothy has worked for the National Institutes of Health since 2009. Prior to joining NINDS in 2013, he worked for the Office of Research Facilities as a Program Analyst.  He graduated from the University of Maryland in 2001 with a BA in Communication.
