
Sara Dodson has ten years of experience in science policy, strategic planning, and evaluation at the NIH. As a Senior Health Science Policy Analyst in the NINDS Office of Science Policy and Planning, Sara contributes to analysis and planning for several disease areas, including Alzheimer's Disease/Alzhaimer's Disease Related Dementias and stroke, as well as cross-cutting research and training efforts relevant to women's health, minority health, and health disparities. Sara holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Emory University with a focus in cellular and molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer's Disease. She ventured into science policy in 2010 as a Science & Technology Policy Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
