Sara Dodson, Ph.D.

Sara Dodson has fifteen years of experience in science policy, strategic planning, and evaluation at the NIH. As a Senior Program Manager in the NINDS Immediate Office of the Director, Sara helps lead the implementation of the National Parkinson’s Project and contributes to analysis and planning for Alzheimer's Disease/Alzheimer's Disease Related Dementias and women’s health research. Sara holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Emory University with a focus in cellular and molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease. She ventured into science policy in 2010 as a Science & Technology Policy Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
