Kevin Jones is a Health Program Specialist in the Division of Clinical Research at the NINDS. Kevin joined NINDS in 2022 to help manage the ongoing Early Phase Pain Investigation Clinical Network (EPPIC-Net) program. Kevin has over 15 years of experience in basic, applied, and translational neuroscience research. Prior to joining NINDS, Kevin was a Specialist in the Neuroscape lab at the University of California-San Francisco (UCSF) in the Neurology department. At UCSF, Kevin managed longitudinal clinical trials that sought to rescue memory and slow cognitive decline in healthy aging and at-risk for Alzheimer's disease patients with mild cognitive impairment. Kevin's research combined multiple neuroimaging methodogies, biomarker analyses, noninvasive neurostimulation techniques, and adaptive video game training paradigms. Prior to working at UCSF, Kevin was a postdoctoral fellow at Georgetown University Medical Center where he conducted longitudinal stroke rehabilitation studies that optimized language relearning in patients suffering from aphasia. Kevin received his Ph.D. from the University of Nevada-Reno, where he conducted basic and applied research on working memory, cognitive decline in aging, and cognitive training. 
 
Kevin is from Seattle and went to the University of Kansas where he received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. In his spare time Kevin is most likely biking, watching KU basketball, at a concert, or snowboarding.
