June Yi, NP-C, joined the CTU in December 2020 as a Nurse Practitioner with the Safety Oversight and Regulatory Compliance Office. She has 6+ years of experience in Family Medicine and Urgent Care. She has a history of managing both acute and chronic illnesses using evidence-based medicine and a strong track record collaborating with team members and specialists. Ms. Yi will assist the CTU with research nurse credentialing as well as assisting the pharmacovigilance program. Ms. Yi will serve as the Nurse Practitioner in Dr. Walitt’s lab and is also available to provide NP cross-coverage to study teams, schedule permitting (Contact the CTU for more information).
Ms. Yi graduated with her BSN from University of Kansas in 2005 and obtained her MS from Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in 2014. She worked as a staff nurse in med/surg and telemetry prior to taking her first position as a clinical coordinator with the Alzheimer and Dementia clinic with the University of Kansas Neurology department. She has also worked as an active-duty RN in the PACU and as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the Air Force before transitioning to the Air Force Reserves.
