Dr. Todd received his Ph.D. from Ulster University, Northern Ireland and subsequently completed postdoctoral training as a Visiting Fellow and Research Fellow with the Neuromuscular Symptoms Unit/Tissue Injury Branch of NINR on preclinical models and clinical trials for RYR1-related myopathies. Dr. Todd works jointly with the NINDS Clinical Trials Unit and the Neuromuscular and Neurogenetic Disorders of Childhood Section (NNDCS, Bönnemann Team). His focus is on translational and clinical development of gene and transcript-directed therapies for rare neurologic disorders.
