
Adam Jacobs serves as a Solutions Architect for the Office of Neuroscience Communications and Engagement (ONCE), Digital Communications Branch at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) at NIH, where he supports the Institute’s digital strategy in disseminating information on NINDS research advances and initiatives to various stakeholders including scientific and academic communities, as well as policy-makers, patients, and the public.
Mr. Jacobs oversees technical development within ONCE, ensuring that the architecture, digital platforms, and documentation follow industry best practices, safely harness emerging technologies, and meet cybersecurity standards. Mr. Jacobs also collaborates with other offices in the institute to provide strategic technical subject matter expertise and support.
Mr. Jacobs began his career at NIH as a contractor in 2016 serving as a Technical Lead for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. He received his B.A. in English Language and Literature from the College of Arts and Humanities at the University of Maryland with a concentration in creative writing and web authoring. Mr. Jacobs is a certified Drupal content management system developer and backend specialist.
