Joan Ohayon, RN, MSN, CRNP, MSCN is a Program Official for NeuroNext in the Division of Clinical Research (DCR) and a family nurse practitioner. Prior to joining DCR, she was in the Neuroimmunology Clinic (NIC) in the Division in Intramural Research, NINDS for 25 years, most recently serving as Director of Clinical Operations in NIC. Ohayon has expertise in development and execution of clinical trials in neuroimmnological diseases, including multiple sclerosis, human T-cell lymphotropic virus and progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy. Ohayon has extensive experience and continued interest in fostering community and patient engagement in clinical research.
