Hermon R. Gebrehiwet, DrPH , CCRP

Hermon R. Gebrehiwet joined NINDS in December of 2021 as Scientific Program Manager in the Systems & Cognitive Neuroscience cluster. Hermon started her career with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Physical Science. Then continued her education with a doctorate (DrPH) in Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology. Her work history includes Clinical Data Management (CDM) at the NIH/NCI Immunotherapy, Pediatric Oncology, and HIV and AIDS Malignancy Branch. Clinical trial management (CRA) and biostatistics work at Fast-Track Drugs and Biologics, as well as a research assistant at CDC/NCHS. She is also a veteran who served with the US Army National Guard in Washington DC for 8 years.
