Emily Davis currently serves as a Health Program Specialist in the Office of Training and Workforce Development at NINDS. She received her doctorate in biomedical sciences from the University of California, San Francisco where her research focused on the role of X chromosome inactivation in brain aging and neurodegeneration. Her previous NIH roles were in the intramural training space, first as a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Center for Advancing Translational Science and then as a Program Manager in the Office of Training and Education at the National Cancer Institute. She is passionate about supporting the biomedical research community and is committed to upholding a collaborative scientific environment where people can do their best work and be their best selves.
