Dr. Arvind Shukla is a Scientific Program Analyst for the Neurodegeneration Cluster (NDG) in the Division of Neuroscience at NINDS, supporting Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease-Related Dementias (AD/ADRD) programs. Prior to joining the NDG cluster, Arvind worked as a Research Fellow in the intramural NINDS, where he worked on the role of the genetic and environmental factors on age and age-related neurodegenerative disorders. He earned his M.S. in Biotechnology from Kumaun University, Nainital, India, and a Ph.D. from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India, in Biotechnology with an emphasis on toxicant induced Parkinson-like symptoms in Drosophila.
