NIH Common Fund Undiagnosed Diseases Network
Argenia Doss recently joined the NINDS in 2020 as a Scientific Project Manager for the NIH Common Fund's Undiagnosed Diseases Network program. The UDN is a nationwide network of clinicians and researchers who use both basic and clinical research to uncover the underlying disease mechanisms associated with rare and undiagnosed conditions. Prior to joining NINDS, she was a Program Director at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. Her contract site was Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Argenia received her BS from Langston University, PhD from the University of Kansas Medical Center, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University. Her research experience includes elucidating the bi-directional crosstalk between the immune cells and sensory neurons in the skin and during pathogenic infections using Caenorhabditis elegans and rodent models.
