Overview
This is the third meeting of the Advisory Council Meeting on Parkinson’s Research, Care, and Services (ACPRCS). The Council will continue its work to develop recommendations and priority actions for federal programs related to Parkinson’s disease and related disorders (PDRD). The Council fosters collaboration across Federal partners, research leaders, clinicians, nonprofit stakeholders, and individuals living with Parkinson’s and their care partners as defined in National Plan to End Parkinson’s.
Meeting Purpose
The meeting will feature:
- A spotlight on PDRD public-private partnerships
- Updates from the Research and Regulatory Program Subcommittee as well as the Care, Services, and Supports Subcommittee
- Time for structured public comment
- Discussion of next steps
All materials and discussion will support the development of the Council’s recommendations to the HHS Secretary and the National Plan to End Parkinson’s.
Public Comment Instructions
The ACPRCS welcomes input from people living with Parkinson's and Parkinsonisms, families, caregivers, advocates, scientists, clinicians, healthcare providers, advocacy organizations, scientific or professional organizations, and the broader community. Please adhere to the Public Comment Guidelines.
Public comment deadline
Public comments are accepted on an ongoing basis. To be shared with the Council at this meeting and to request an opportunity to provide your comments verbally, comments must be received by October 26th by 5:00 p.m. ET.
