NIH BRAIN speakers and BRAIN-funded investigators will be presenting at LabRoots’ 8th Annual Neuroscience Virtual Conference, broadcasting live for free on March 11, 2020. The theme of this year’s event is Brain Function: In Health and In Disease. Using approaches that range from biological to computational, the conference will bring together the neuroscience community to discuss and present the newest advances in understanding the human brain, neuropsychiatric disorders, and behavioral processes as they relate to brain function.

Dr. Walter Koroshetz, Director of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, will give the keynote address. Throughout the virtual conference, three tracks will be explored: NIH BRAIN Initiative – A Multidisciplinary Approach to Neuroscience, Understanding the Scourge of Neurodegenerative Diseases and Dementia, and Behavioral and Psychiatric Disorders.

BRAIN-funded investigator speakers will discuss topics on Cell Type Diversity, Tool Development, Advancing Human Neuroscience, Early Career BRAIN Scientists, and Understanding Circuits and Behavior. LabRoots site resources also include an overview from NIH staff and full list of speakers.

The conference will include interaction through live-streaming video and chat sessions, and the webinars resulting from this event will be available later for unlimited on-demand viewing.
