NINDS welcomes applications to the parent T32 for institutional training programs in basic, clinical or translational research that falls within the NINDS mission. NINDS currently receives few applications for translational training programs. Consequently, NINDS is hosting this webinar to discuss approaches that potential applicants might use to develop training programs designed to equip trainees with expertise in basic or clinical research as well as an understanding of the translational processes used to advance basic and clinical research to potential therapies. The webinar will cover the creation of training environments that involve basic and clinical researchers working in concert to address research problems with an eye toward development of viable health-relevant therapies, technologies, or devices.
The webinar is recommended for established investigators with expertise and insights in translational research who are interested in learning about the NINDS philosophy for creating T32 institutional training programs.
This webinar is optional and not required for submission of applications.
