University of Utah Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Open House
Since 1975, the University of Utah has been the primary contract site for the NINDS-funded Anticonvulsant Screening Program (ASP), now called the ETSP, to perform preclinical studies to identify new treatments for epilepsy. ASP/ETSP successes include the identification/ characterization of many currently marketed antiseizure drugs. Current efforts are focused on identifying new treatments that will address unmet medical needs in epilepsy, including pharmacoresistant epilepsy, comorbidities, and disease prevention/modification.
Please join Karen Wilcox (Principal Investigator) and other contract site staff from the University of Utah Dept. of Pharmacology and Toxicology in an open house of their testing facilities on February 25, 2019. Please RSVP to Ms. Ana Garcia (NINDS) as enrollment will be limited.
