NINDS held a virtual workshop following the 2020 Nonprofit Forum. The event emphasized the importance of personalizing narratives in research, medicine, and patient care. We were pleased to welcome Liz Neeley and Sonia Vallabh as speakers. Ms. Neely serves as the Executive Director of The Story Collider, an organization that explores how one can share personal narratives about science. Dr. Vallabh will tell a story about a genetic prion disease that inspired her research career. The webinar was held via Zoom July 16th from 3 to 4 p.m. ET.
