Institutional National Research Service Award Training Programs
The NINDS Institutional AD/ADRD Training Grant is intended to support Training Programs with a specific focus on Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) or Alzheimer’s Disease-Related Dementias (ADRD).
The NINDS Institutional Training Grant is intended to support Training Programs that provide outstanding research training with the breadth and depth to prepare advanced predoctoral (years 3 and 4) and/or postdoctoral trainees to have a successful independent career in the complex, multidisciplinary, integrative, and rapidly evolving research enterprise.
An award to enable institutions to recruit individuals selected by the program leadership for research training in neuroscience of predoctoral students in their first two years in a PhD program.
Institutional Clinician-Scientist Research Training Programs
To facilitate and support a national program of mentored advanced research career development for junior emergency medicine faculty at institutions nationwide that support emergency medicine physicians to conduct research.
To facilitate and support a national program of mentored advanced research career development for junior neurosurgeon faculty at institutions nationwide that support neurological research.
Support for mentored career development and training of child neurologists appointed by an institution for development of independent research skills and experience in a fundamental science within the framework of an interdisciplinary research and development program.
The purpose of the NINDS Research Education Program for Residents and Fellows in Neurological Disorders and Stroke is to support the development and/or implementation of programs that relate to research education and training of clinical residents and fellows to foster careers as physician-scientists.
